Welcome home…
I returned home after a long period of five years…
I am in Pune – a city with pretensions of being the next big thing – home to industries, IT hub, educational Mecca, pensioner’s paradise, etc.
As is my wont I went to the club early in the morning for a swim and workout. I come back home to find that the lights were out. I open the tap to realize that taps were dry; water supply cut due to some unforeseen circumstance. I try calling my parents – the phone line was dead.
No lights, water or communication…
