The staple diet of millions – the Indian answer to burger. Fast food was never faster… They have set up quite professionally and serve VP with ‘Lassi’ or ‘Tak’ (liquid dairy products – yum too! And even offer a healthy brown bread option. What’s healthy when you have a patty of fried potatoes you wonder? They have a standardized product and the branches have sprouted like nobody’s business. It is an encouraging trend and goes to prove that if one is innovative and can serve the general populace at “can’t beat the price” success is inevitable. It ought to serve as a lesson in entrepreneurial endeavor. It might lack the glitz and air-con comfort of the McD… yet the ‘desi’ flavor of the whole thing packs quite a punch! At 5 bucks a pop it is definitely incomparable to the over priced meal-"mumbos” offered elsewhere.
